Satsuma

The satsuma is earliest soft citrus which bridges the gap between north hemisphere fruit and clementines.

Class: Soft Citrus

Specifications: Brix 10+, Acid 0.7 – 1.3, Ratio 0.75-8

Clementine

Clementines are yearly soft citrus which round, sweet and have a good eating quality

Specifications: Brix 10+, Acid 0.7 – 1.6, Ratio 7 – 8

Nadorcott

The king of soft citrus/easy peelers, the Nadorcott fruit has excellent sugar-acid ratio, is good eating, low seeded and excellent shelflife. The Quacha group specialises  in production of highest quality Nadorcotts

Specifications: Brix 10-15, Acid 0.7 -1.6, Ratio 7 – 10+

Eureka & Lisbon

Accompanying a meal or in a drink, lemons are the citrus that gives you that extra zing. The group has cultivars that allow it to provide produce for the duration of the South African season.
